معذوری اور محرومی کسی چیز کا نہ ہونا ہرگز نہیں ہوتا،  یہ حقیقت آج کا انسانی شعور ثابت کر چکا ہے۔ کسی عضو یا کسی حس کی غیر موجودگی زندگی میں فرق ضرور پیدا کر دیتی ہے، لیکن زندگی کو چلنے سے روک نہیں سکتی، ہاں مگر فقط ایک ہی محرومی ایسی ہے جو زندگی کے چلتے پہیہ کو ایک ہی جگہ پر جام کر دیتی ہے، یعنی کہ انسان کو ہر چیز مہیا ہو مگر وہ اس کے استعمال سے قاصر رہے۔ اس کا ہر عضو سلامت ہو مگر ان کے مقاصد نا پید اور انسان کو سبھی حسیات دستیاب ہوں مگر وہ انسان انہیں بروئے کار لانے کے فن سے نا آشنا رہے، تو یقینا یہی وہ حقیقی معذوری کہلائے گی جو ایک بے مقصد زندگی کو جنم دیتی ہے اور جو انسان کو زندہ ہوتے ہوئے بھی جینے نہیں دیتی۔

مثال کے طور پر اگر میٹھا ہمیں مہیا نہ بھی ہو تو یقینا اس کے کئی اور فطری متبادل موجود ہیں بالکل اسی طرح اگر کوئی انسانی عضو یا حس نہ بھی موجود ہو تو اس کے متبادل موجود ہیں۔ وہ چاہے میڈیکل سائنس کی بدولت ہوں یا پھر انسان کےاپنے ہی شعور کی پیداوار، لیکن یہ تو ثابت شدہ حقیقت ہے کہ تقریبا ہر انسانی معذوری اور محرومی کا متبادل آج موجود ہے۔ لیکن اب اگر انسان کو ذیابیطس کا مرض لاحق ہو تو یقینا وہ میٹھا سامنے ہوتے ہوئے بھی اس کو کھانے سے قاصر ہی رہے گا، انسان کے پاس سب کچھ ہو، سبھی اس کے سامنے اس کے ہاتھوں میں آسانی سے مہیا ہو مگر وہ اس کو استعمال میں لانے سے قاصر رہے،  تو وہی انسان حقیقی طور پر معذور کہلائے گا۔ کیوں کہ یہی وہ واحد معذوری ہے، جس کا اب تک کوئی متبادل موجود نہیں۔

آج انسانی شعور خود کو اس حد تک تسلیم کروا چکا ہے کہ اب وہ آدھے جسم کے بنا بھی ادھورا نہیں رہا، مگر جسم اگر بنا شعور کے ہو تو یقینا وہ ہی حقیقی معذوری اور قابل ترس صورت حال ہو گی۔ کیوں کہ جسم لاکھ نا مکمل سہی انسان اپنی حسوں سے بھلے محروم سہی، مگر جب اور جہاں اس نے با مقصد جینے کا ہنر پا لیا، اس کی ہر معذوری ایک محرومی بننے کی بجائے اس کا سہارا بن گئی۔ لیکن مقاصد سے عاری اگر کروڑوں مکمل نفوس و اجسام بھی ہوں تو ان کا جینا ہمیشہ رائیگاں ہی گیا ہے۔ مغرب و مشرق کی ہزاروں ایسی مثالیں آج بھی ہمارے سامنے موجود ہیں۔

وہ چاہے بنا ٹانگوں، بازوؤں کے فقط دھڑ ہی کا مالک نک ویو چکی کی زندہ دل جیتی جاگتی ہستی ہو  یا پھر سٹیفن ہاکنگ کی فقط ایک ہی ہلتی انگلی سے سائنس، فلسفے و منطق کے پھوٹتے چشمے۔ سائنس کے افق پر البرٹ آئن سٹائن کے معجزے ہوں یا کہ پھر تھامس ایڈسن کے وہ تحقیق و ایجادات کی دنیا کے روشن روشن خیال،  فلسفہ منطق، علم و ایجادات اور تخلیقات کے سمندر میں معجزوں کے مانند کمال فن سے تیرتے اپنے تخلیقی ہنر رہتی دنیا کو منواتے یہ سبھی نامور شعور مگر جسم ادھورے۔

اور اگر انصاف کی نظر سے دیکھا جائے تو آج تک کی تاریخ انسان میں انہی معذوروں نے صحت مند انسانوں کی اس بظاھر مکمل دنیا کو اتنا کچھ دیا ہے کہ وہ ناقابل بیاں ہی نہیں بلکہ نا قابل فراموش بھی ہے۔ حقیقت تو یہ ہے کہ یہی ہیں جنہوں نے انسان کو یہ شعور دیا کہ اس کا بظاھر مکمل ہونا ہرگز حقیقی مکمل ہونے کی ضمانت نہیں اور نہ ہی ایک ادھورا جسم حقیقی طور پر ایک ادھورا پن ہے۔

معذوری اشیاء عضو یا حس کا نہ ہونا ہرگز نہیں بلکہ ان کو مناسب طور پر استعمال میں نہ لا پانا ہے اور یہ ادھورے وجود ہی تو ہیں جنہوں نے آج کے اس مکمل انسان کو صحیح و بامقصد جینے کا ہنر سیکھانے میں ایک بہت اہم کردار ادا کیا ہے۔

آج وہی معاشرے قابل احترام ہیں جن کے ہاں یہ ادھورے جسم اپنے مکمل انسانی حقوق کی ضمانت کے ساتھ جی رہے ہیں، جنہوں نے وہیل چیئر فقط معذور کی سہولت کے لیے ہی ایجاد نہیں کی بلکہ اس لیے بھی کہ اس دو پہیوں والی چیئر پر بیٹھا وجود ہمارے شعور کو جھنجوڑ کر اپنا ہر انسانی حق ہم سے اپنی پوری عزت و تکریم سے وصول کر سکے۔ جنہوں نے بلائنڈز سٹک آنکھوں کے اندھے پن کو دور کرنے کے لئے نہیں، بلکہ آنکھوں والوں کے اندھے پن کو سدھارنے کے لیے فراہم کیں ہیں، .جنہوں نے سڑکوں سے لے کر شاپنگ پلازوں  اور تمام تر پبلک جگہوں پر اشارے اندھوں گونگوں بہروں کی حفاظت کے لیے نہیں بلکہ ان جیتے جاگتے حواس والوں کو جگانے کے لیے اور ان کے اولین انسانی فرائض کی یاد دہانی کے لیے جا بجا لگا دئے ہیں۔

اب اگر پھر بھی کوئی فقط بظاھر ادھورے وجود کو ہی معذور سمجھے اور جن کے ہاں معذوروں کو ان کے حقوق نہیں بلکہ بھیک کے کشکول ملیں تو پھر وہاں حقیقت میں معذور کون ہے؟ یہ فیصلہ کرنا اب قطعا مشکل نہیں رہا۔
