دو ہزار پندرہ میں کینیڈا کی ریاست انٹاریو کی گورنمنٹ نے یہاں دوسرے گریڈ یعنی چھ سے سات برس کے بچوں کو جنسی تعلیم دینے کے لیے اسمبلی میں ایک بل پیش کیا تھا۔ اس سے قبل جنسی تعلیم یہاں گریڈ آٹھ، یعنی بارہ سے تیرہ برس کے بچوں کو دی جاتی تھی۔کمسن بچوں کو جنسی طور پر ہراساں کو ملحوظ خاطر رکھ کر بچوں کی حفاظت کے پیش نظر اس بل کو اسمبلی میں پیش کیا گیا تھا۔ ادھر یہ بل کیا پیش ہوا تھا، ہر طرف یہاں سڑکوں پر پاکستانیوں کا احتجاج ہی پھوٹ پڑا۔ بچوں کو جنسی طور پر ہراساں کرنے کے سبھی واقعات پر خاموش و کنگ رہنے والے اس طبقے نے بچوں کو جنسی تعلیم نہ دینے کے لیے سر توڑ کاوشوں کیں اور پورا زور لگایا۔ کینیڈا تو کینیڈا، امریکا میں مقیم پاکستانیوں کو بھی کینیڈا میں گریڈ دو کے بچوں کو جنسی تعلیم دینے کی اس پھیلتی فحاشی کا درد لے ڈوبا۔

بے حد شور مچا۔ اسمبلی ہال کے باہر احتجاج، پاکستانی لوکل اخبارات و ریڈیو پروگرامز پر اسی موضو ع کو لے کر حکومت اور تعلیمی نظام کی بھرپور مذمت، مساجد کے خطبے، ملاؤں کے فتوے، وزیر ا عظم اور ارکان پارلیمان کو اس فحاشی پر اسلامی غیرت دلاتے خطوط و ای میلز کی بھرمار جگہ جگہ موجود پاکستانی برادری کو ایک جگہ جمع کر کے اس کی روک تھام کی نت نئی منصوبہ بندی۔ مگر کسی طور ان کا کوئی بس نہ چلا اور ہزار چیخنے پر بھی ان کا ہر وار خالی گیا، قانونی بل منظور ہو گیا۔ بچوں کو گریڈ دو سے جنسی تعلیم کا آغاز ہوا۔

اصولاﹰ و قانوناﹰ اس عمر کے ہر بچے کی کلاس کا مکمل ٹائم ٹیبل ہر ماہ کے شروع میں ہی والدین کو بھیج دیا جاتا ہے۔ اگلے ماہ ہر ہفتہ میں کون کون سی خاص کلاس کس وقت کس دن ہوگی اور ادھر پاکستانی بھائیوں کے غیرت کھاتے کلیجے ابھی بھی سلگ رہے تھے۔

نتیجتاﹰ یہاں موجود پاکستانیوں نے بہ شمول ان سب اقلیتوں کے جنہیں آج زینب کے کیس سے مذہبی منافرت کی بنا پر فارغ کیا جا رہا ہے، اپنے بچے اس دن اسکولوں سے بیماری کے بہانوں سے اٹھوا کر مساجد میں نمازیں پڑھانے کو بھیجنے لگے۔ جس جس علاقے کے اسکولوں میں پاکستانیوں کی کثرت تھی، وہاں سے تعلیمی بورڈ کو شکایات موصول ہوتی رہیں کہ جب جس دن بچوں کو جنسی تعلیم دینے کی کلاس ہوتی ہے، پاکستانی اکثریت کے سبھی اسکول خالی ہو جاتے ہیں۔ سبھی کے والدین ان کے بیمار ہو جانے کی خبر بھیج دیتے ہیں۔

تفتیش کرنے پر بہت سے بچوں کی ماؤں نے پرنسپلز اور کونسلز کو رازدارانہ طور پر بتایا کہ وہ خود تو چاہتی ہیں کہ ان کے بچے اپنے دفاع کے طور پر جنسی تعلیم حاصل کریں مگر عقیدے کے رہنماؤں کا دباؤ بہت زیادہ ہے، ان کے شوہر اور سسرال بچوں پر اس ضمن میں کڑی نگرانی کرتے ہیں اور گھریلو خاتون خانہ ہونے کے سبب ان کا کوئی بس نہیں چلتا۔

ہاں البتہ یہاں قابل داد ہے وہ قلیل روشن خیال طبقہ جس نے اس وقت بھی یہاں پاکستانی شدت پسند اکثریت کی ہر ممکن مخالفت کی تھی اور ان کے مخالف جنسی تعلیم کے حق میں اپنا احتجاج ریکارڈ کروایا تھا۔

آج پاکستان کے حالات اس نہج پر ہیں کہ وہاں خالصتاﹰ مشرقی و مذہبی غیر فحش معاشرے میں موجود ہر شخص بھی مجبوراﹰ اپنے بچوں کی حفاظت سے خوف زدہ ہے اور انہیں جنسی تعلیم دینے کی ضرورت پر چیخ اٹھا ہے۔ یہاں مغرب میں جہاں یہ تعلیم موجود ہونے کے باوجود انہی پاکستانیوں کو ایسے ایسے خدشات لاحق رہے ہیں کہ ان کے بچے بے شک معصومیت میں ہوس کی بھینٹ چڑھ جائیں یا بن موت مارے جائیں، مگر منافقت اور فحاشی کے یہ بھوت ان کے سروں سے اتریں گے نہیں۔ جی ہاں یہ ہیں مغرب کے پاکستانی جو آج یہاں بیٹھے اپنے وطن کی زینب کی لاش پر آنسو تو بہا رہے ہیں مگر خود اپنےگھروں میں بیٹھی ہر ہر زینب کو کم عمری ہی میں پاکستان لے جا کر آرام سے بیاہ دینے پر مصر بھی نظر آتے ہیں اور مغرب میں رہ کر بھی اپنے بچوں کو جنسی تعلیم دلوانے سے خوف کھاتے ہیں۔
